Samsung Electronics has taken a significant step forward in television technology with the introduction of its 89-inch Micro LED TV in the Korean market. This strategic move is aimed at reinforcing Samsung’s position in the ultra-premium TV industry.

The Micro LED TV utilizes non-organic materials, delivering higher contrast levels and a more authentic and lifelike image compared to OLED displays. Furthermore, it offers a longer lifespan. Each pixel on the Micro LED TV comprises three LEDs that work independently to produce colors and light, eliminating the need for backlighting or color filters.

Samsung’s 89-inch Micro LED TV, identified by the model number MNA89MS1BACXKR, is now available for purchase in Korea.

In celebration of its launch, Samsung is offering a bundle deal that includes the 85-inch version of the Frame TV, the HW-Q990C soundbar, and the freestyle complete package, which includes a mobile battery, a carrier, and a skin/cradle. Early buyers of the product can earn 5 million Samsung Electronics membership points.

Taehwan Hwang, Vice President of Samsung Electronics Korea, has revealed their plans to expand the Micro LED lineup by introducing 76, 101, and 114-inch models, thus providing consumers with a wider range of ultra-premium TV options. Samsung aims to maintain its leadership position in next-generation display technology with these advancements. The 89-inch Micro LED TV is priced at 130 million won.
